The Media Account Manager will represent the Media team in IMG’s Buenos Aires office, working closely with the wider Media team, CONMEBOL and relevant media rights holders and partners across the region. The role will have a strong focus on the international distribution of CONMEBOL Club Competitions media rights, supporting sales across international territories and managing relationships and contractual matters with existing rights holders.

The Media Account Manager will also act as a key point of contact for rights holders across the SSLA region, while supporting the Media team on media intelligence, anti-piracy matters and other strategic and day-to-day projects. Based in Buenos Aires, the position will serve as the Media team’s representative within the local IMG office, supporting IMG leadership on Media-related matters and representing the department in relevant meetings and discussions in Argentina.


IMG works with CONMEBOL to drive commercial growth and deliver innovative development strategies for its club competitions. The Media team supports the global distribution and commercial development of media rights across CONMEBOL Libertadores, Sudamericana and Recopa, helping connect South American club football with audiences around the world.


IMG’s team works across key markets in Latin America and internationally, collaborating closely with CONMEBOL, broadcasters, streaming platforms and other media partners to support the continued growth and distribution of CONMEBOL Club Competitions.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Sales and Account Management at CONMEBOL.

  • International Media Rights Sales: support and manage the sales of CONMEBOL Club Competitions media rights across international territories, including commercial negotiations, proposals and deal execution.

  • International Contract Management: manage international media rights agreements throughout their lifecycle, coordinating with relevant internal teams and following up on key contractual and commercial matters.

  • SSLA Account Management: act as a key point of contact for media rights holders across the SSLA region, managing day-to-day relationships, contractual matters and ongoing commercial discussions.

  • Media Intelligence: lead ratings and audience reports for CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana, providing relevant data and insights to internal departments and CONMEBOL when required.

  • Support the relationship with IMG’s anti-piracy partner and coordinate relevant matters with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Act as a focal point for the Media team in Buenos Aires, representing the department in relevant in-person meetings, activities and discussions in Argentina, including whenever the VP of Media is not present.

  • Support IMG’s leadership in Buenos Aires on all Media-related matters and contribute to broader Media team projects and day-to-day activities as required.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience in the Sports, Media and/or Broadcasting industry.

  • Experience in media rights sales, distribution and/or account management.

  • Strong commercial mindset, organizational skills, relationship management and customer service skills.\

  • Good understanding of the sports media landscape in Latin America and international media markets.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English; professional proficiency in Portuguese.

  • Previous experience with sports media rights, broadcasters, streaming platforms, audience measurement and/or TV/digital viewership data.

  • Availability to travel internationally, particularly within Latin America.

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position

  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
