Media Pricing Analyst [Analytics - Communication – Advisory]

Are you passionate about turning data into decisions? Do you enjoy combining rigorous analytics with clear communication and trusted advisory? The Nordic Productivity team at Annalect is hiring a Media Pricing Analyst to monitor and improve media buying performance across Omnicom Media agencies in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

About the Role

You’ll collaborate with Omnicom Media agencies across Denmark, Sweden and Norway to audit, monitor and validate media buying performance. This is a specialist media investment control role focused on ensuring that agreed media cost commitments are tracked, documented and delivered, and that clients receive transparent and optimised media investment outcomes.

The role combines financial controls, data analytics and advisory work. You’ll validate pricing against benchmarks, review cost performance across media channels, support audit processes and collaborate with agency teams, global investment teams as well as external media auditors.

This is not a traditional media planning role. It sits at the intersection of financial control, media operations and performance analytics — a unique specialism within the media agency world.

What You’ll Do

Analytics

  • Validate pricing against benchmarks and audit cost efficiency.
  • Transform and validate datasets, maintain QA checks, and ensure reporting accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor media cost performance across clients and markets.
  • Become a specialist in media pricing, media buying mechanisms and audit methodologies.

To be successful: Reporting is accurate, timely, and insightful; stakeholders trust your numbers, evaluations and recommendations.

Communication

  • Coordinate processes and timelines, plan data deliveries, and manage expectations with internal teams, global investment, and external auditors.
  • Translate complex media buying and audit setups into clear, simple explanations for different audiences.
  • Share concise insights with investment teams, client teams, and senior stakeholders across the Nordics.

To be successful: Cost performance results are communicated clearly and regularly to stakeholders, and you build strong working relationships with colleagues, Global Investment and external auditors.

Advisory

  • Advise investment and client teams on performance and optimisation opportunities, quantifying potential impact and trade-offs.
  • Collaborate with teams to close the loop on actions and report on what improved.
  • Help client teams and stakeholders understand results, risks and opportunities.

To be successful: Clear recommendations lead to measurable improvements in cost performance and value delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong numeracy and an analytical mindset; you’re meticulous with data and comfortable with large datasets.
  • A relevant academic degree, for example marketing, data science, finance, economics, or related field.
  • You may be a recent graduate or early in your career.
  • Strong interest in data management, quality control, and process coordination.
  • Clear, confident communication in English (CEFR B2 or above).
  • A collaborative team player who takes ownership and delivers high-quality work.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools.
  • Familiarity with media performance metrics and channels.
  • Danish, Swedish or Norwegian language skills are an advantage.

What We Offer

At Annalect, you’ll join a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Based at our waterfront office at Midtermolen in Copenhagen, you can expect:

  • Opportunities for professional development in a large international organisation.
  • A social culture with Friday bars, multiple annual company parties, DHL teams and other social activities.
  • A supportive data-driven team.
  • A culture that encourages initiative, innovation, and personal growth.
