About Huzzle

About Huzzle

At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include fast-growing startups, digital agencies, SaaS companies, and tech-enabled businesses across industries such as MarTech, FinTech, EdTech, and eCommerce. About the company

Our client is a fast-growing social-first media publisher dedicated to engaging the Gen Z demographic across the UK. By moving away from traditional digital display and publisher websites, the team operates exclusively where young adults spend their time: on social media feeds. They specialize in creating news, stories, and cultural moments that resonate with the 18-27 age bracket, currently reaching 30% of that audience every month. Their work bridges the gap between leading brands and hard-to-reach consumers through authentic, high-impact content.

The team focuses on delivering social-first solutions that address everything from travel and lifestyle to consumer education and online safety. As a mission-driven media organization, they pride themselves on being an antidote to forgettable content by prioritizing genuine engagement and British cultural relevance. Candidates will join an innovative, forward-thinking environment during an exciting phase of growth, working to shape how the next generation consumes media and interacts with brands in a digital-native landscape.

Job Type Full-time

Job Summary Are you a high-energy sales professional who lives and breathes social media? This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth, social-first media publisher dedicated to UK Gen Z culture. As an early member of the commercial team, you won't just be making dials; you will be the engine room of the business, helping the world’s most exciting brands connect with a youth audience through authentic, viral content. This is a high-activity, full-cycle role designed for a "hunter" who wants to move beyond simple lead generation and take full ownership of the sales process, from the first "hello" to the final signature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound activity (500+ touches per week) across email, LinkedIn, and phone to identify and engage decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and booking discovery meetings to developing campaign proposals and closing deals.
  • Identify and target relevant brands and marketers, creating tailored commercial angles that resonate with their specific marketing objectives.
  • Consistently maintain a qualified pipeline worth at least 4x your quarterly revenue target.
  • Lead discovery meetings and present commercially credible briefs focused on branded content, CPMs, and paid amplification.
  • Maintain meticulous records in the CRM, ensuring every prospect has a clear next action and follow-up date.
  • Negotiate commercials and protect margins to hit revenue targets of £60k–£75k per quarter once fully ramped.
  • Transition from initial new business acquisition into long-term account ownership, renewals, and strategic upselling.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of demonstrable outbound B2B sales experience (advertising, media, or adtech preferred).
  • A proven track record of personally originating opportunities and closing revenue.
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape: CPMs, media budgets, campaign briefs, and branded content.
  • A "Social-First" mindset: Native understanding of Gen Z culture and how brands live on social media platforms.
  • High resilience and competitiveness, with the ability to handle rejection and maintain high activity levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to be persuasive in high-stakes meetings.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to qualify budgets and handle objections effectively.
  • Must be based in London (onshore) and able to work GMT hours.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Direct experience selling media products to UK brands (direct-to-brand experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo.
  • Existing relationships with brand marketers or creative agencies.
