As one of only two Media Sales Strategists supporting the Cape Breton region, you'll step into an established territory with long-standing client relationships and tremendous opportunity for future growth. Working alongside an experienced and supportive Sales Manager, you'll receive the mentorship, training, and resources needed to build a successful career while representing one of Canada's most comprehensive multimedia marketing portfolios. From radio and digital advertising to streaming audio, connected TV, Google Ads, YouTube, social media, and programmatic advertising, you'll help local businesses connect with their customers through customized marketing solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow a portfolio of business clients throughout the Cape Breton region
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
- Build long-term relationships with business owners and key decision-makers
- Develop customized multimedia advertising solutions based on client objectives
- Present proposals, negotiate agreements, and close new business opportunities
- Grow an existing portfolio while identifying opportunities for additional business
- Collaborate with creative, promotions, programming, and digital teams to deliver successful campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with recommendations and reporting
- Represent Stingray at networking events and within the local business community
- Consistently achieve individual sales and revenue targets
Requirements
- Minimum two years of consultative sales, account management, or business development experience
- Media, marketing, advertising, or digital sales experience considered an asset
- Experience selling digital marketing solutions such as Google Ads, social media, streaming audio, connected TV, or programmatic advertising is considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid vehicle insurance
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
