The Opportunity:
If you're looking for a sales career where relationships matter, your earning potential is unlimited, and no two days look the same, keep reading.
Help businesses grow while building a career you'll be proud of. You'll represent one of Canada's strongest multimedia portfolios, including radio, digital advertising, streaming audio, connected TV, Google Ads, YouTube, social media, and programmatic advertising solutions.

Supported by an experienced leadership team and surrounded by colleagues who genuinely celebrate one another's success, you'll have every opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of Canada's most respected media companies.

The Ideal Candidate:
You enjoy meeting new people, asking thoughtful questions, and finding creative ways to help businesses grow. Whether your background is in media sales, digital marketing, account management, or consultative B2B sales, you're motivated by building relationships and creating solutions that make a difference for your clients. You're naturally curious, competitive in the right ways, and enjoy the challenge of prospecting while developing long-term partnerships. Most importantly, you're looking for a collaborative environment where you'll continue learning, growing, and building a successful career alongside a team that's invested in your success

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow a portfolio of business clients throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
  • Build long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Develop customized multimedia advertising solutions based on client objectives
  • Present proposals, negotiate agreements, and close new business opportunities
  • Grow an existing portfolio while identifying opportunities for additional business
  • Collaborate with creative, promotions, programming, and digital teams to deliver successful campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with recommendations and reporting
  • Represent Stingray at networking events and within the local business community
  • Consistently achieve individual sales and revenue targets

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of consultative sales, account management, or business development experience
  • Media, marketing, advertising, or digital sales experience considered an asset
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Benefits

  • Our compensation model is designed to support your success. Depending on your experience, you may begin with a competitive base salary plus commission while building your client portfolio. • Pension Plan and Share Purchase Plan with employer contributions
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits
