About the Role

The Medical Admissions Podcast Host serves as a public-facing voice for Jack Westin's medical school admissions expertise. This role teaches and hosts free live sessions for prospective students, blending high-value admissions education with authentic promotion of Jack Westin's programs and resources. The host also co-hosts our medical school admissions podcast and reviews blog content for accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and host free live admissions sessions for prospective students, delivering engaging, high-value content on medical school admissions topics
  • Naturally introduce and promote Jack Westin's resources, programs, and services during live sessions, converting audience interest into program enrollment
  • Co-host the Jack Westin medical school admissions podcast, contributing expert insights and discussion
  • Review admissions-related blog posts for accuracy, relevance, and content quality prior to publication (review only, no writing required)
  • Stay current on medical school admissions trends, AAMC updates, and application cycle changes to ensure content accuracy
  • Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams on session topics, scheduling, and promotional alignment

Requirements

  • MD/PhD student strongly preferred
  • Comfortable presenting live and on camera to an audience of prospective students
  • Strong verbal communication skills, suited for podcast co-hosting
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional recording space

What We Offer

  • $55/hour
  • Part-time role, approximately 10–15 hours per week
