Purpose of the Position

In this vital role, you will champion medical and clinical excellence across the lifecycle of our therapeutic portfolio. Reporting to the Medical Director, you will translate complex science into meaningful strategies, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to ensure our innovations reach the patients who need them most.

Main Responsibilities

  • Shape Medical Strategy: Develop and lead the Medical Affairs Plan (MAP) for your assigned therapeutic areas, aligning local activities with global scientific goals.

  • Build Scientific Partnerships: Establish and nurture trusted, high-level relationships with healthcare professionals, scientific leaders, and medical societies.

  • Drive Data Generation: Plan and execute local data generation programs and clinical studies to address critical knowledge gaps, ensuring full compliance.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Serve as the core medical expert within internal teams, partnering with Market Access, Marketing, and Regulatory colleagues to guide business strategy.

  • Advance Scientific Knowledge: Lead publication initiatives, review articles, and represent the company at key medical congresses and continuing medical education (CME) events.

  • Ensure Scientific Integrity: Review and approve promotional and educational materials to guarantee the highest standards of scientific accuracy and ethical compliance.

  • Advocate for Patients: Engage with regulatory and reimbursement authorities to present scientific evidence that supports patient access to our therapies.

  • Facilitate Peer Exchange: Organize and lead national or regional Advisory Boards to gather valuable insights from external medical experts.

Your Profile

  • Educational Background: You hold an advanced degree in life sciences (MD preferred, PharmD, or PhD).

  • Scientific Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of drug development, clinical practices, and therapeutic landscapes.

  • Collaborative Mindset: You thrive in matrix organizations, enjoying close collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Communication Skills: You are an empathetic communicator and presenter, skilled at translating complex scientific data for various audiences.

  • Strategic Thinker: You can connect scientific insights to broader healthcare trends and strategic business goals.

  • Language Skills: You are fluent in both Czech and English
