We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Assistant to join our team in Chicago, IL. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care, performing administrative duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare professionals
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medical facility
• Communicate with patients and their families in a professional and compassionate manner
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assistant program
• Certification as a medical assistant
• Experience working in a medical facility preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
