Medical Assistant - Athletic Trainer for Orthopedic Medical Group

• Greet patients with a smile
• Assist the providers with patients in exam rooms
• Enter vitals, history, and other medical information in EMR
• Perform data entry
• Provide patient care as instructed by the provider
• Assist the providers with procedures
• Removal of sutures and/or stitches
• Apply/remove braces and splints
• Stocking and cleaning the exam rooms
• Submit referrals
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Office Manager
• Assist the providers with patients in exam rooms
• Obtain medical records from imaging centers
• Complete orders, forms and send prescriptions
• Scheduling appointments, answer phone and responding to emails
