Medical Assistant, Certified

General Summary

The CCMA (Certified Medical Assistant) is responsible for providing direct patient care to urology patients in the clinic setting under the supervision of a Physician, Physician’s Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner. This is a float position and will be expected to travel between locations. The incumbent will be expected to perform vital signs, basic wound care, transcribing information to patient record or EMR, and administering PO, IM, subcutaneous, and intravesical medications.
