This busy endocrinology practice is looking for a highly-organized, outgoing and friendly person to serve as its Medical Assistant. Applicants must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task. This is a great opportunity to join a talented and committed team of medical providers.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
- triaging and rooming patients
- measuring and recording patient vitals in the EMR
- patient injections
- returning patient calls
- securing prior authorizations
- facilitating patient flow
- other duties as requested
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of two years of medical experience, preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- EMR Experience, eCW preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- $18.50 - $20 based on experience
