Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Doylestown, PA. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Handle administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Work Environment

This position is based in a medical office located in Doylestown, PA. The role requires standing for extended periods, occasional lifting, and direct patient interaction.
