Medical Assistant Oncology

• Schedule: Days | Full-Time

• Proficiency in patient rooming protocols, conduct patient intake, measure vital signs, and assist the care team with treatments and procedures as directed.
• Manage phone communications, maintain patient records, and assist with supply inventory, ordering, and stocking.
• Ensure treatment rooms are prepared for examinations, and the clinical area is clean and well-organized.
• Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, filling, and provide general office and clerical support to the assigned area.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

• At least one year of experience in a Medical Clinic or Medical Group setting.
• Demonstrated experience with patient rooming procedures.
