Medical Assistant
PrimeCare Medical Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work in the Medical Department at the Berks County Jail System in Leesport, PA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks such as medical records request, administrative reports, Continuity of Care (COC) release, and other medical duties.
Available Shifts: FT Day, PT Day, PT Night
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining examination and treatment areas
- Verification of medications and medical information
- Maintain medication records
- Answer telephone and processing calls
- Maintain filing system and confidentiality of information at all times
- Provide full administrative and clerical support to the medical department at the facility to include typing of various reports, letters and memorandum
- Data Entry
- Scanning documents into the computer
- Assisting with the credentialing process of new hires
- Maintain staff log
- Schedule transports
- Assist with billing

Additional Compensation:
