Medical Assistant - Richardson

Responsible for medical tasks and assisting clinic medical staff as needed at Prestonwood Pregnancy Center (“PPC”).

Responsibilities:

• Work with clinic staff and volunteers to coordinate patient flow
• Perform pregnancy tests and complete necessary documentation
• Assist with patient/family education and provide instructions to patient as directed
• Fax medical records per clinic policy
• Assist physician or nursing staff with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and keep exam rooms stocked
• Collect urine samples for STD testing and complete necessary documentation
• Incorporate principles of safety in all clinical operations
• Demonstrate safe use of all equipment related to patient care
• Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact
• Assist with medical volunteer management and recruitment
• Other duties as assigned
