MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team!

Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area’s most vulnerable populations.

The organization is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Family Practice area at our Madison location. The Certified Medical Assistant assists medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients including taking patient vitals, blood draws, administering immunization and medications including injections, completes medication refills, tasks, and patient education assistance as required. Previous experience with clinical procedures is a must.

Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Primary Service Center: London, Ohio

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly Position.

Work Hours: Full-time position

Education Requirements:

Required - Must have an Ohio certification through NHA or AAMA, and a High School Diploma/GED is also required.

One (1) to Three (3) years’ experience in a Healthcare setting preferred.

Experience working with an Electronic Health Record Program is a plus.
