Key Responsibilities Code Medical Records: Review and code patient records accurately using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal regulations, insurance requirements, and internal policies. Data Entry: Input and manage coding information into the company database with high accuracy. Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, billing departments, and other stakeholders to clarify information and resolve discrepancies. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of coded information. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of changes in coding standards and healthcare regulations. Required Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: B Pharmacy or equivalent degree in a related field. Certification: Certified Medical Coder (CMC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is preferred. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
