Nursing Home Medical Director - Part Time - $2,500/Month + Per-Patient Pay (Paulding, OH)

An established physician and provider group serving skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in the Paulding, OH area is seeking a part-time Medical Director. You will provide medical oversight for a skilled nursing / long-term care facility while partnering with nurse practitioners, nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care. This role is ideal for a physician already working in nursing homes who wants to add a medical directorship alongside an existing practice.

What You'll Do

• Provide medical direction and oversight for resident care at your assigned skilled nursing / long-term care facility
• See new admissions and complete required regulatory visits and documentation
• Mentor and guide nurse practitioners and participate in regular case reviews
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local long-term care regulations and support surveys and audits
• Participate in QAPI programs and efforts to reduce avoidable hospitalizations
• Serve as clinical liaison among facility administration, nursing staff, providers, residents and families

What You Bring

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Long-term care experience required (skilled nursing, long-term care or post-acute care)
• Prior Medical Director experience and familiarity with CMS long-term care regulations a plus

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time, typically once a week at your facility (more often for larger facilities)
• Hired for one facility, with the option to add facilities over time
• $2,500 per month medical director stipend, plus additional compensation for patients you choose to see
