Medical Director – Veterinarian

We’re seeking an experienced small-animal veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role with a strong clinical and leadership focus. You’ll continue seeing patients while helping guide the medical team, support staff development, and maintain a positive practice culture.

What You’ll Do

• Provide wellness, diagnostic, and ongoing medical care
• Handle routine soft-tissue procedures and dental cases
• Mentor doctors and veterinary support staff
• Help establish consistent clinical standards and improve day-to-day workflows
• Encourage a compassionate, low-stress approach to patient care
• Partner with practice leadership on team development and medical initiatives

Ideal Background

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program
• Maryland license or eligibility
• 3+ years of small-animal clinical experience
• Comfortable with general surgery and dentistry
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or team-development experience preferred
