Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Drive a 16 ft box truck daily; keep delivery truck stocked and organized.
- Contact patients by telephone to schedule deliveries and schedule routes accordingly to meet patient needs in a timely fashion when required.
- Communicate in a professional manner with the customer, clients, and patients effectively and efficiently while being empathetic and aware of their needs.
- Manage assigned routes timely to meet specific delivery time frames.
- Assemble medical equipment properly and educate and train caregivers and/or patients on safe equipment use. Equipment may include: hospital beds; respiratory equipment; ambulatory aids; wheelchairs; support surfaces; and additional miscellaneous equipment
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted daily.
- Ability to use electronic data entry devices.
- Install, pickup, and service basic DME equipment.
- Maintain professional appearance; adhere to company dress code which includes: a clean neat uniform, steel-toed shoes, and good personal grooming and hygiene.
- Assist with training new employees when required.
- Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed or delegated by management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
