Maintains and sterilizes medical equipment in hospitals to prevent infections, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper equipment setup for procedures.
A Sterilization Specialist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the medical and surgical tools used in hospitals to avoid spreading of germs and infection.
Accountabilities
- Decontamination of surgical and medical instruments.
- Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.
- Ensure hospitals comply with regulations, and work to protect their patients from any infection.Assembling medical equipment.
- Testing and performing quality control checks routinely to make sure that it’s running properly.
- Performing equipment inventory and restock supplies when needed.
- Maintaining accurate sterilization records.
- Keeping tools organized, sorting mismatched sets of instruments and making them available for physicians in a timely manner.

- Working Days : 6 Working Days
- Days off : 1 Day Off
- Working Hours : 9 AM to 1 PM and from 5 pm to 9 pm with 4 hours break (1 PM to 5 PM)
Job Requirement
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in related specialization (chemistry, microbiology, biology, biochemistry)
- Professional Accreditation Certificate authorized from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
Experience: Fresh Graduate
Computer Skills: Office
Languages: Arabic - English
