CortiCare Medical Hardware Technician
This is a hybrid role in Dallas, TX.
- Assess and document Computer requirements
- Document inbound and outbound hardware inventories.
- Troubleshoot computer and medical hardware issues and building medical equipment to spec and repair equipment
- Repair and prepare laptops, tablets, monitors, IP camera’s and other related items
- Load software and configure equipment for field usage
- Clean and prepare equipment for shipping and storage
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to Medical kits, tablets, camera’s Bluetooth and software related issues.
- Respond to queries within service desk platform and Qliq.
- Keep detailed maintenance log
- Work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels
- Receive and respond to incoming calls and or emails regarding Medical kits and/or hardware problems
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and hotspot routers.
- Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
- If necessary, Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors
- Advanced Soldering skills
- Basic understanding of 3D printing
- Be able to troubleshoot on-site at client offices to diagnose and repair broken equipment quickly and under pressure
- Track and manage equipment parts inventory and keep inventory stock up to par
- Proficiency with power tools including drills, saws, and electric knives
- Be able to break down complex troubleshooting steps and technical language in a way that is digestible for doctors and clients with little or no technical knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical repairs and bench test equipment
- Create and maintain CortiCare asset inventory and moving items.
