Medical HR Manager

Our client, a leading healthcare organisation in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Manager (Medical HR) to join its Human Resources team.

In this strategic HR partnering role, you will work closely with senior medical leadership, Clinical Leads, Clinical Operations and key stakeholders to support and drive HR programmes across medical talent acquisition, manpower planning, performance management, learning & development and employee engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play an integral role in building and developing a growing medical workforce while contributing to key workforce and HR transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Clinical Leads to identify manpower requirements for both specialists and non-specialists, and formulate proactive resourcing strategies to meet medical manpower demands.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the Medical group, including sourcing, interviews, selection, offers and onboarding.
  • Partner with medical leadership and various stakeholders on the nesting, deployment and practising registration of the Medical team.
  • Work closely with medical leadership and HR Learning & Development on the Health Manpower Development Plan, related fellowships and leadership programmes.
  • Manage the full spectrum of HR operations and services for the Medical team.
  • Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, legislation and manpower planning relating to the Medical team.
  • Supervise and coach junior executives to ensure effective, efficient and professional delivery of HR plans, programmes and services.
  • Keep abreast of HR-related policies and recommend improvements to ensure continued relevance and compliance with regulatory requirements and changes within the healthcare landscape.
  • Work with Centres of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, or its related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering with proven record in talent acquisition.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver. Calm, decisive, and resilient in high-pressure situations.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion.
  • Possess strong analytical, communication, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team and across teams with minimal supervision.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationship at various levels.
  • Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and nurture the team to meet institutional goals.
  • Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new software and other relevant programs.
