MEDICAL INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

About the Position: This position is located within Brooke Army Medical Center on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Serve as the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Technician, responsible for assisting in all areas of the rehabilitation program.

Assist with vital sign monitoring, exercise stress testing and symptom screening of all patients.

Utilize equipment and physical exercise to achieve and/or maintain physical rehabilitation of patients

Order and maintain supplies of patient educational materials, office supplies, medical supplies audio-visual supplies and equipment.

Serve as exercise test technologist for diagnostic and functional evaluations.
