About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Department of Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Honolulu, Hawaii. Perform a wide variety of complex ultrasound examinations.
Utilize diagnostic two-dimensional imaging, spectral Doppler analysis, color and power Doppler, angio techniques, and real-time ultrasound imaging across multiple organ systems in both inpatient and outpatient radiology settings.
Identify abnormalities within the body and providing accurate ultrasound imaging documentation as medical proof of abnormal findings.
Independently operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
Assist radiologists and medical officers with complex or invasive diagnostic procedures, including needle biopsies, aspirations, sonohysterograms, and renal biopsy guidance.
Train radiologist, physicians, and other personnel in ultrasound principles, procedures, capabilities, techniques, and equipment.
Establish and maintain a variety of files and records relating to ultrasound activities.
