Medical Lab Sales/Business Devlopment

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Laboratory Sales Representative to drive business development and grow testing volume by establishing and expanding relationships with physicians, clinics, health systems, and specialty practices. The ideal candidate has direct B2B laboratory sales experience and a proven track record of increasing specimen volume and laboratory test orders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with physicians, clinics, health systems, and specialty medical practices.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and decision-makers.

• Increase the number of specimens and diagnostic tests sent to the laboratory.

• Identify new accounts and expand business within existing accounts.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and testing-volume goals.

• Educate providers on laboratory services, testing capabilities, and available solutions.

• Monitor account activity, sales performance, and market opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal laboratory and operational teams to support client needs.

Qualifications

• Direct B2B diagnostic laboratory sales experience strongly preferred.

• Proven experience developing physician, clinic, health-system, or specialty-practice accounts.

• Demonstrated ability to increase laboratory testing volume and specimen submissions.

• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business.

• General pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales experience alone will not be considered equivalent to direct diagnostic laboratory sales experience.
