Shift:

• Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Employment Type:

• Full-Time
• Seeking a Blood Bank Technologist for an evening shift role in a non-hospital reference laboratory setting in Detroit. This position focuses on complex immunohematology testing and supporting hospital transfusion services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening, and crossmatch testing
• Workup complex antibody identification cases
• Provide reference lab support to hospital blood banks
• Prepare and issue antigen-negative and rare blood products
• Maintain QC, documentation, and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• ASCP certification (MLS or BB) or eligible
• Blood bank or reference lab experience strongly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
