Salary: N240,000 - N300,000 / month.
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to conduct accurate clinical laboratory testing, support patient diagnosis and treatment, and maintain high standards of laboratory quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and body fluids using standard procedures
* Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment while monitoring quality control measures
* Ensure proper specimen handling, documentation, and reporting of test results
* Maintain a sterile laboratory environment and comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
* Support blood grouping, compatibility testing, and identification of infectious agents
* Manage laboratory inventory, prepare routine reports, and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
* Registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria
* Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
* Strong documentation, quality management, and laboratory data management skills
* Attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
