- Triaging & Troubleshooting: Jump into action by fielding phone calls, diagnosing issues, and working cross-departmentally to solve problems that keep our lab running smoothly
- Order & Communication Management: Process orders with precision while keeping clients in the loop and ensuring seamless communication every step of the way
- Shipment Tracking & Critical Value Handling: Stay on top of shipments and manage critical lab values with the attention to detail they deserve
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales teams, pathologists, and outreach business partners to facilitate specialized testing approvals and expand lab capabilities
- Multi-System Mastery: Gain hands-on experience with diverse lab systems including Sunquest, Copath, CRM, and ATLAS—building a comprehensive toolkit of technical knowledge
- Customer-Centric Problem Solving: Act as the crucial bridge between customers and the laboratory, ensuring every interaction adds value and strengthens relationships

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Coursework must align with duties of the specific section Medical Laboratory discipline position and meet the education Eligibility Routes for Medical Laboratory Scientist listed on the ASCP website at (ascp.org)
- OR possesses a categorical scientist level certification as a BB, C, CG, CT, M, MB
- OR has met the requirements for AAB and/or AMT certifications.
- Requires six months of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions are required.
- Certification at the technologist, or medical/clinical lab scientist level from a nationally recognized agency, such as ASCP, AMT, ASM, AAB, AABB, ACS, or HEW is preferred.
