Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) with expertise in clinical microbiology to join our diagnostic laboratory team. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex microbiological testing, including culture setup, organism identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as automated ID/AST systems and biosafety equipment
  • Evaluate and interpret test results with accuracy and clinical relevance
  • Follow established quality control, quality assurance, and biosafety protocols
  • Document results in the laboratory information system (LIS) with precision
  • Participate in proficiency testing and competency assessments
