Medical Laboratory Scientist

This posting is for multiple openings of Medical Laboratory Scientist at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. We are hiring for the following opportunities:

• Full Time, Evening Shift, 40 hours a week
• Per Diem or On-Call, Day Shift, Variable Schedule – no guaranteed hours

Under the direction of the Section Supervisor, the Medical Technologist employs professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance functions in the department.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or equivalent science -OR- equivalent education/experience
  • Meet CLIA requirements

Preferred Qualification:

• 1 year of work experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a hospital setting
