Medical Professor – International Medicine Program

Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) is looking for a Medical Professor to join our International Medicine Program and contribute to the education and professional development of future physicians in a multicultural and international academic environment.

Position Objective:

Teach undergraduate medical courses and workshops entirely in English, providing students with high-quality academic instruction and supporting their development of medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and professional skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Teach medical courses and workshops in English.
• Prepare, update, and develop academic and teaching materials.
• Evaluate student learning and provide academic feedback.
• Participate in academic activities related to the course and program.
• Promote an engaging, professional, and collaborative learning environment.
• Contribute professional and medical expertise to the academic experience of international medical students.

What We Are Looking For

• Medical Degree (MD) / Bachelor's Degree in Medicine.
• Master's degree completed.
• Advanced English proficiency; the position requires teaching entirely in English.
• Professional experience in medicine.
• Experience in higher education or medical teaching is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinking, teamwork, planning, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Medical specialization is highly desirable, particularly in areas such as Neurology, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Oncology, Geriatrics, Urology, or related specialties.
