Job Description

  • Promote and sell the company’s range of orthopaedic, prosthetic and rehabilitation products and services.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, hospitals, clinics and other key stakeholders.

  • Attend to referrals, patient enquiries and service requests promptly and professionally.

  • Visit hospitals and clinics when required to attend to patient cases, product fittings and service requests.

  • Understand patients’ needs and recommend suitable products and services within the scope of the role.

  • Proactively follow up with patients and healthcare professionals on enquiries, appointments, fittings and outstanding cases to facilitate completion of sales.

  • Provide product demonstrations, basic fitting assistance and product education after receiving the necessary training.

  • Respond promptly to calls, messages and enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.

  • Identify new sales opportunities and develop relationships with potential healthcare partners and accounts.

  • Maintain proper records of sales activities, referrals, customer follow-ups and ongoing cases.

  • Coordinate closely with the clinical and operations teams to ensure a smooth process from referral and assessment to fitting, delivery and after-sales service.

  • Provide reliable after-sales support and maintain long-term relationships with customers and healthcare partners.

  • Work towards assigned sales targets while maintaining a high standard of professional and patient-centred service.

Requirements

  • Experience in medical sales, healthcare, orthopaedics, prosthetics, rehabilitation, medical devices or related industries will be an advantage but is not essential.

  • Compassionate and patient-focused, with a genuine willingness to assist patients who may be experiencing pain, disability or mobility challenges.

  • Comfortable working in hospital and clinical environments and interacting directly with patients.

  • Sales-oriented with a strong service mindset — able to balance commercial objectives with appropriate and professional patient care.

  • Proactive and responsive, with the initiative to follow up on enquiries and take ownership of cases through to completion.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to establish and maintain good relationships with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and other key stakeholders.

  • Willing to learn technical product knowledge, product indications and basic fitting techniques.

  • Responsible, organised and able to manage appointments, hospital visits and multiple ongoing cases independently.

  • Comfortable communicating with patients and healthcare professionals through phone calls, messaging and face-to-face interactions.

  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical, technical and operations teams.

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong sense of responsibility are important.

Training will be provided on the job, including product knowledge, basic fitting techniques, patient service procedures, hospital workflows and sales/account management.
