Medical Science Liaison

Kinetic has partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company who are hiring a medical science liaison to be based in Riyadh.

Main responsibilities

The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and maintain strong, credible scientific relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals in rare diseases.
• Identify and engage with key experts, including physicians, researchers, and specialists involved in rare disease management.
• Gather and communicate medical insights, treatment gaps, unmet patient needs, and emerging scientific trends to the medical affairs and cross-functional teams.
• Support medical affairs activities including advisory boards, scientific meetings, congresses, and educational initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in medical affairs or a closely related scientific role within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Previous experience in rare diseases is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, scientific literature, clinical trials, and evidence-based medicine.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with KOLs and specialist physicians.
