Location: Indianapolis, IN
Facility: St. Vincent Medical Group
Department/Specialty: Gastroenterology
Schedule: Full Time | Days
- Accompanies provider into the patient examination room to document the provider's encounter with the patient .
- Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as indicated by the provider.
- Transcribes patient orders including but not limited to laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.
- Documents procedures performed by the provider.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s):
- None Required.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- Medical Assistant.
Education
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
