Medical Support Assistant

About the Position: This position is located in the Occupational Medicine Department at Naval Medical Clinic Cherry Point, NC. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Receive consultations and appointment requests from multiple clinical sites

Provide education and assistance to patients and visitors throughout the facility.

Maintain schedules of patients and providers in the department.

Route referrals and other correspondence to the proper source.

Generate reports to support process improvement in the clinic.

Manage patient records to ensure accuracy.
