In this role you will be a key part of a team of technical business developers that support the business to manage, automate and streamline their data requirements and develop and present insights that drive business decision making.

Whether it be understanding market behaviour, seller performance or logistics processes this role will be responsible for ensuring the data is gathered in the most efficient and effective manner using the modern data lake, automation and Business Intelligence tools and languages.

A key requirement of the role is to ensure all reporting and the accompanying business analysis is accurate and delivered in a timely manner to bring maximum benefit to the business. You are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You are also expected to be a member of the DX Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence, being an advocate of best practice ways of working seamlessly joining business understanding with end to end development and solutioning.

You will:

• Liaise with variety of business stakeholders and business analysts to understand the relative priorities and manage the demand pipeline and requirements from the business.

• Closely cooperate with business PICs advising data availability, sources and solutions.

• Ensure data is available, collected, stored and prepared in the most efficient and effective manner, utilising tooling such as Power Automate, Databricks and Power BI platform.

• Design, build and manage reports and dashboards supporting DX BI&A needs covering areas like Sales, Market share, sellout and stock, investments, store and online intelligence.

• Use best possible technologies / solutions to provide optimisation related to Dataset, Dataflow and their visualization

• Continuous structured communication to be conducted with DX Developer team containing changes, developments, project statuses and relevant statuses linked to deliverables.

• Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes, tools and reports.

• Attend to stakeholder meetings, development request clarification events

• Ensure all products, whether developed personally or by a third party adhere to company development standards and undergo any necessary QA checks and processes.

• Ensure that data quality and governance are positive contributors to stakeholders’ processes.

• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

You will bring:

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence roles.

• Ability to get inspired by developing efficient solutions, powerful data visualisations and storytelling using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI with a high level of technical competence.

• Proficiency in:

• MS Excel (high level)

• MS SQL (medior level)

• MS PowerAutomate (medior level)

• MS PowerBI (M, DAX) (medior level)

with highly numerate and analytical, commercially astute skills.

• Excellent organisational & time management skills with a strong ability to prioritise.

• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and influentially both verbally & in writing. Ability to understand and translate business requests
