Context:

The Trading and Asset Optimization Team is typically responsible for:

1. Daily optimization runs of all assets (nuclear, thermal, CHP, renewable, and pump storage): This task is handled by the Asset Optimization Team, which ensures that all generation assets are managed efficiently and aligned with market conditions.

2. Costing and bidding of contracts for ancillary services tendered daily by national Transmission System Operators (TSOs): This is usually the responsibility of the Ancillary Services or Market Operations Team, part of the broader energy trading department.

3. Intra-day trading on the energy markets: This is managed by the Intraday Trading Team within the Energy Trading Desk, focusing on real-time electricity trading and market adjustments to optimize asset performance.

Role & responsibilities:

• Development of front-end website architecture.

• Design of user interactions on web pages.

• Development of features to enhance the user experience.

• Building reusable code for future use.

• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.

• Cross-platform optimization.

• Design responsive applications.

• Design and develop APIs.

• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.

• Maintenance of code integrity and organization.

• Writing clean, functional code on the front-end.

• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.

• Meet both technical and consumer needs.

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Autonomous.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment.

• Excellent verbal communication.

• Attention to details.

• Good problem-solving skills.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in eUI /Angular (latest versions, build and automation tools), Bootstrap and Typescript.

• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, ES6, CSS3 and SASS.

• Good knowledge in client-side development of complex applications involving: multi module, Web Components.

• Experience in Web security, authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect).

• Experience with the following tools: Git, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible, Jenkins and Sonar.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
