Medior .NET Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Medior .NET Backend Developer to support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of core business applications. You will work closely with analysts, architects and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Framework, .NET 8+ and REST/WebAPI.
• Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET WebForms/MVC.
• Design and manage SQL Server 2016–2025 and Oracle 19+ databases.
• Use Entity Framework Core for data access and optimization.
• Work with XML, JSON, WCF and Web Services.
• Apply design patterns, SOLID principles and development standards.
• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications.
• Write and execute unit tests, troubleshoot technical issues and participate in code reviews.
• Use Azure DevOps, Git and TFVC.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Agile/Scrum activities.

Requirements

• Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / .NET 8+.
• Strong Entity Framework Core experience, including complex query writing, reading and optimization.
• Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
• Good knowledge of SOLID, OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Autonomous, proactive and quality-oriented.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent/native-level French is mandatory. Dutch and English are an advantage.

• Location: Brussels
• Work model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
• Language: French mandatory
