📋 Job Responsibilities

• Translate system and architectural specifications into actual designs, authoring design specs and schematics in collaboration with power, signal integrity, and PCB layout engineers.
• Develop server motherboards and add-in cards from definition through schematics, PCB layout/CAD, and lab hardware verification.
• Lead power-on planning and board-level testing in the lab, driving debug and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with System Architecture and BIOS/FW teams to define I/O pins and ensure the HW design spec is accurate.
• Lead feasibility studies and proof-of-concept prototyping of new technologies, and work directly with customers and core technology suppliers to solve technical problems.

• Platforms: Intel / AMD / ARM / GPU platform architectures
• High-Speed Interfaces: PCIe, SAS/SATA, InfiniBand, Fibre Channel, Ethernet; DDR4, DDR5, HBM2
• Coherent Links: CCIX, GenZ, CXL
• Design & Management: Power distribution, high-speed signal design, BMC (Baseboard Management Controller), design spec and test plan authoring

Requirements

🎯 Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required, Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of direct industry experience (3+ years with a master’s degree).
• Solid grasp of analog and digital circuit principles, with strong high-speed signal design, power distribution, and platform architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed serial buses, memory buses, and cache coherent links; strong knowledge of BMC functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to write detailed design specs and test plans; fluent English for global collaboration.
