Member of Client Operations, Settlements

You will deliver white glove service to institutional clients throughout their ongoing account management activities, rotating across custody activity, client experience, and settlements. You will execute end-to-end settlement operations, receiving, verifying, and processing requests accurately and on time. You will reconcile activity across internal systems and external venues such as banking portals, custodians, and exchanges, and use blockchain explorers to validate on-chain transactions. You will maintain strong documentation and controls, contribute to runbooks, and partner cross-functionally with Trading, Client Ops, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering to improve tools and strengthen controls. You will manage the complexities of settling transactions across digital assets and fiat currencies under strict time constraints, prioritize competing demands, resolve discrepancies, and escalate appropriately. You will stay current with the evolving crypto market structure and regulatory requirements, communicate clearly during incidents and escalations, and build strong relationships with internal partners and external counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Use blockchain explorers to validate on-chain transactions
• Maintain strong documentation and controls for repeatable settlement workflows and contribute to runbooks and knowledge-sharing
• Partner cross-functionally with Trading, Client Ops, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering to improve tools, reduce manual steps, and strengthen controls
• Manage the complexities of settling transactions across a wide range of digital assets and fiat currencies under strict time constraints
• Prioritize competing demands, resolve discrepancies, and escalate appropriately to protect clients and the firm
• Contribute to process improvements and projects that increase throughput, resiliency, and auditability of settlement operations
• Stay current with evolving crypto market structure, operational best practices, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
• Build fluency in the company's products, systems, and downstream dependencies to anticipate impacts of process changes
• Document and cross-train to share knowledge across the team and avoid single points of failure
• Communicate clearly and calmly during incidents, escalations, or high-pressure settlement windows
• Build strong relationships with internal partners and external counterparties and drive alignment on timelines, next steps, and required inputs
• Contribute thoughtfully to team discussions and continuously improve how information is shared

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in operations, settlements, reconciliations, or post-trade support in digital assets, fintech, or traditional finance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive workflows concurrently
• Experience reconciling transactions and balances across systems; comfort investigating breaks and documenting findings
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts and using explorers to validate transactions, or strong willingness to learn quickly
• Clear communication skills with a strong sense of ownership and a practical, risk-aware mindset
