Member of Technical Staff RSI Lab

You will conduct frontier research and engineering for recursive self-improving AI. You will discover new machine-intelligence methods, build world models for agentic reasoning and planning, apply evolutionary methods to algorithmic domains, and build infrastructure for high-dimensional search, distributed compute, and automated code generation. You will be physically based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities

• Discover new laws of machine intelligence
• Build world models for agentic reasoning and planning
• Apply open-ended evolutionary dynamics to algorithmic domains
• Build infrastructure for recursive self-improvement systems
• Optimize high-dimensional search pipelines and distributed compute topologies
• Productionize automated code-generation stacks

Requirements

• Recognized global impact in AI or machine learning
• Proven frontier research or engineering track record
• Physical presence in Tokyo
