# Member of Technical Staff ## Job Summary We are hiring a **Member of Technical Staff** to build the scalable systems powering our platform; you will work closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to ship reliable, high-quality software. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and excel in engineering craftsmanship. ## Responsibilities - Assume **End-to-End Ownership** of services according to your levels of expertise, including feature services, full services, and platforms. - Participate in **On-Call Rotation** as the first responder to production issues, day or night. - Conduct **Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)** operations using PostgreSQL or MySQL. - Perform **Database Optimization** and **Query Tuning** as necessary. - Engage in **Code Reviews** to maintain code quality. - Define **Global API Contracts** using a Schema-First approach before implementation. - Manage **AWS Deployment** through Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Make **Architecture Decisions** and engage in **System Design**. - Assist in defining the **Long-Term Technical Roadmap** aligning multiple teams towards platform direction. ## Qualifications - **Educational Background**: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (preferably in Computer Science Engineering).We're only considering candidates from IITs and NITs for this role. - **Minimum Years of Production Experience**: - MTS-1: 1 year - **Technical Skills**: - Python & Django development - Secondary programming language (Rust/Go/Java) - Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms - Proficiency in AWS services and Infrastructure as Code - Experience with Database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL) ## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with **Next.js** for AI-native front-end development. - Experience in defining **OpenAPI** contracts. ## Experience - Minimum of **1 year** experience required for the MTS-1 position. ## Environment - Typical work setting is on-site in **Bangalore**. ## Growth Opportunities - Opportunities to lead product builds with a small, fast-shipping team of builders. - Potential to shape the future of advertising in a mission-driven company that focuses on AI-powered execution and intelligence for media operations. ## Benefits - The package offers competitive benefits; however, specific benefits are not detailed.
