Member of Technical Staff

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Member of Technical Staff to join our team in New York, NY. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and implement software solutions for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using various programming languages and tools

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability

- Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our products and processes

- Participate in agile development processes, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

- Document technical specifications, requirements, and processes

-Hands-on experience building AI agents/agentic product systems for end users

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 3 - 8 years of experience in backend engineering, building AI agents in production (Python/TypeScript)

- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript

- Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue

- Knowledge of database design and SQL

-Backend engineering: database modeling and API design, owned end-to-end

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
