About the Role
Trona Valley Federal Credit Union is seeking two friendly, detail-oriented Member Service Specialists to join our Rock Springs Branch. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our members, assisting with daily transactions, account services, and providing exceptional support. Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily teller transactions and assist with opening/closing accounts, CDs, and digital services.
- Provide accurate information about Trona Valley products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve member issues within your authority or refer them to the appropriate staff with recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services.
- Act as a liaison between members and internal departments.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
- Adhere to all Trona Valley policies and federal regulations, including BSA compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Performance Expectations
- Deliver excellent member service aligned with Trona Valley's standards.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of credit union products and services.
- Accurately process all member transactions.
- Maintain a businesslike appearance and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of related experience in customer service or financial services.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard.
- Ability to build relationships and resolve first-level conflicts diplomatically.
