REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, DESIGN INTEGRATION
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Design Integration, the Member of Technical Staff is responsible for designing and developing advanced mask designs for new and prototype products, including the review and presentation of all new designs to various engineering groups; overseeing design rule enforcement, documentation, and peer training; and preparing and maintaining documentation related to design rules such as alignment trees, KLA overlay specifications, profilometer arrangements, and test chip designs. This position is located in Milpitas, California.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Designs and develops of advanced mask designs for new and prototype products
- Reviews and presents all new designs to various engineering groups for review and approval
- Communicates with vendors daily to ensure shipments are processed and received per the established schedule
- Updates and communicates any changes to the process layer checklist to the design team as needed
- Review, edits, and maintains all documentation related to design rules including, but not limited to, alignment trees, KLA overlay specifications, profilometer arrangements, and test chip designs
- Develops and implements practices or methodologies which reduce cost and improve operational efficiency
- Responds to inquiries from other team members, managers, or departments
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required
