MEMS Design Engineer - Acoustics

An exciting company in the San Francisco Bay Area, is looking for a Senior Acoustic Design Engineer to evolve design efforts on a ground breaking MEMS healthcare product that they currently have in the healthcare market.

Responsibilities

· Electromechanical and acoustic design, modeling, simulation of MEMS devices

· Characterization of devices to refine models and prove out designs

· Detailed modeling of MEMS device to understand behavior and improve performance, yield, reliability, etc.

Required Skills

· M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant field.

· Industry experience with acoustic designs

· Experience using FEM to model MEMS devices

· Understanding of piezoelectric thin films and tensors

· Experience using Matlab to create models of product behavior

· Experience modeling acoustic devices using various mathematical methods including COM, P-Matrix, and Green’s function
