Meeting Street is currently looking for a Mental Health Clinician for 40 per week.


Duties:

  • Demonstrates competence in interpreting results of screening and evaluation in terms of the child’s functional capabilities with an emphasis on self-help skills, fine and gross motor development, mobility, sensory integration, behavior, play and oral-motor functioning and explains results to families in a mindful manner incorporating health literacy.
  • Creates adaptation of the environment for infants or toddlers and selects, designs and fabricates assistive devices to facilitate development and promote the acquisition of functional skills with respect to the family’s culture and traditions.
  • Develops and implements appropriate treatment plan (IFSP) with the family and EI team.
  • Actively includes family throughout the entire evaluation/assessment and IFSP process.
  • Works as member of a team to gather and organize information from multiple sources to plan an individualized evaluation/assessment and IFSP.
  • Conducts home visits to evaluate a child’s living conditions and patterns of parent-child interactions.
