Are you passionate about supporting individuals through mental health crises and helping them regain stability? Join our Crisis Stabilization team and play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centered care to adults experiencing significant mental health challenges.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you'll work directly with individuals in a residential crisis stabilization setting, helping them develop coping skills, achieve treatment goals, and move toward recovery. Every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a dedicated team of mental health professionals.

Compensation

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience

Plus Shift Differential Pay for:

  • Evenings
  • Overnights
  • Weekends

About the Program

Our Crisis Stabilization Program provides short-term residential support for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal is to help individuals stabilize in a safe, supportive environment while developing the skills, resources, and confidence needed to successfully transition back into the community.

What You'll Do

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide direct support and skills training to adults experiencing mental health crises
  • Assist individuals in developing coping strategies and recovery skills
  • Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Implement interventions identified in Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs)
  • Support clients in identifying and utilizing crisis management strategies
  • Complete intake paperwork, releases, and other required documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and service records
  • Observe and document medications taken as prescribed
  • Connect clients with community resources and support services
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals, case managers, family members, and community partners
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
  • Attend clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities
  • Follow all agency policies regarding confidentiality, client rights, incident reporting, and vulnerable adult protections
