Are you passionate about helping others improve their mental health and reach their goals? Stepping Stones of Rockford is seeking a compassionate, organized Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient clinical team.

Enjoy a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a fully furnished office in an outpatient clinical setting.

What You’ll Do

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Services and Director of Services, the therapist assesses client needs, develops treatment plans, and provides trauma-informed counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

• Provide individual and group counseling in an outpatient setting.
• Complete clinical assessments, develop diagnostic impressions, and create individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation and meet agency productivity standards.
• Coordinate care with medical professionals, families, and other service providers.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Support clients through admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Maintain confidentiality, uphold clients’ rights, and follow agency policies and professional standards.
• Participate in required training and ongoing professional development.
